China Day 14

Today was a free day. We spent most of the day at the hotel playing and doing laundry. Jackson and YouYou had fun helping wash clothes in the bathtub...and Jin Fu Yun thought this was hilarious for some reason. Several of us have felt a little icky in the last few days. Today was my turn. I am thankful that for the most part no one has been really sick though.

This evening we went to an open plaza area that is very near our hotel. The boys threw the football and the girls ran around throwing and kicking another ball. Little man hung out in the carrier with me and laughed and smiled the whole time. I think he was thankful for the cooler weather. It was overcast today and in the mid 60's instead of mid 80's. We drew quite a crowd. An American couple
with 5 children is not very common here. Several people stopped and held up fingers trying to count us :)

Aaron and I both kind of hit a wall today and really started missing home. It is difficult at times to manage everything when you are living out of suitcases and in between 3 hotel rooms. I don't want to complain though...we are grateful for this time and it will soon come to an end.

Tomorrow we go to the zoo. The weather is supposed to be cool and we should get to see lots of pandas!

We appreciate your continued prayers for us as we all figure out how to be a family of 7! Love to you all!!
