China Day 20

It's our last night in this beautiful country. I can't believe we are about to bring home these two precious children and that we get to call them ours...for as long as God grants us days here on earth.

Today we finished up the last step of paperwork at the US Consulate. They do not allow any pictures to be taken, but our guide took one picture of us in the lobby of the building and I will share that once we get it from her.

This afternoon we took two taxi's to Shamian Island to walk around and do a little fun shopping. When we were here in 2009 we stayed in this area so it was very neat to return there and reminisce.

Tomorrow we will be getting our children's visa's at 2:00 and then at 2:30 our herd, with our 400 suitcases, will board two vans that will take us to Hong Kong for the night.  Then bright and early Thursday morning, Wednesday night Alabama time, we will board or first plane home. Our route will take us from HK to Tokyo, then Tokyo to LA, where our children will become the newest US citizens when they step off the plane. Then, we will fly from LA to Atlanta, and then Atlanta to Huntsville. Our Delta flight 1403 is scheduled to arrive in Huntsville at 10:46 pm. Hallelujah and Praise The Lord! We will be tired, stinky, and hungry, but you might see us jumping for joy!

We have so loved sharing this journey with you. Every single comment and kind word has been treasured. Your prayers have been heard. The song I keep singing to JT seems appropriate to end this post with..."My God is so big, so strong and so mighty there's nothing my God cannot do."

We will post from HK and the airports if we can! Love, love, love you all!!!!
