Dear Mei Mei,

There have been so many blessings given to us these past few days and I want to write them down so I won't forget. We are selling necklaces to raise money to come get you, they are beautiful bead necklaces made in Uganda. So many people are helping us! People are buying them for themselves and to give as gifts. People are wearing them and selling them to other people! People are taking 10 or 15 and selling them! People are buying some, and then buying some more a few days later! We have sold over 100 necklaces in about 10 days! We are amazed and so thankful!

Adoption is expensive, no doubt. But you will be worth it. Your daddy and I experienced proof of that today. We take communion at our church the first Sunday of every month. Your big sister has just started sitting in the service for the entire time so she got to see what communion is about today. She sat on your daddy's knee, as you will one day, and listened intently as he told her about what the bread represents. Then he told her about the wine/juice, and how it represents Jesus's blood. And then your sister whispered quietly, "Jesus died so we can live". And as I listened, and watched your daddy wipe his eyes, I thanked God for giving us the desire to grow our family through adoption.

Although I don't know anything about you yet...I am certain that you will bless our family more than we will ever bless you. You are worth it.
